About Synthetic Diamond

We sell a premium synthetic virgin diamond in sizes from 20grit to 250000grit. There are two types of Synthetic Diamond - SJK and RJK.

SJK Diamond particles are monocrystaline type structure, synthetically produced under high pressure and temperature. SJK crystal offers ultimate strength. It has been developed with multi-edge cutting surface that refuses to peel away into small diamond crystals.

RJK Diamond particles are characterized by their friability, irregular, semi-blocky particle shape with a rough indented particle surface. These characteristics ensure that when the particles encounter stress, the friability causes the fracture of the diamond grain, resulting in the generation of fresh, sharp cutting points, which are preferable to complete loss of the particle, which would occur if the said particle were stronger. This characteristic is very important in the lapping and polishing industry. Particles are getting smaller but sharp edges are always exposed which promotes a longer life of cutting products.

Polishing Oxides

Our Cerium and Aluminum oxides are 99.9% pure chemicals with a high efficiency. With the special processing the particle size is broken to 0.3 microns. This property makes the chemical relatively expensive but a small particle size and large surface area cuts amounts of an oxide needed for the polishing. With a lot less volume anybody is capable to polish the stone or piece of glass with higher results than using conventional cerium or aluminum oxide widely sold on the market.

RECHARGES are used with the Dyna Systems polishing laps. It is a bounding slurry that stays on surface of the polishing lap. Recharging is recommended when a polishing action slows down.
